How does the application process work?
Qualified applicants will receive a response within fourteen (14) days of applying. The selection process includes a phone interview, video interview (unless agreed otherwise between candidate and Lawfecta), reference verification, and background checks.
Will I hear back if my application is not successful?
We appreciate each and every application and we would love to personally touch base with each and every one of you. Unfortunately, we get many applications each week and it is not possible for us to connect with everyone. If you are a qualified applicant, we will each out to you.
How many hours a week can I work?
As an independent contractor, you may decide how many hours a week you may work.
How much will I get paid?
Pay is contingent on your experience and level of skill. Pay ranges from $18.00 – $25.00 per hour.
I already have a job, can I work a few hours a week?
As an independent contractor, you may choose to work how ever many hours you want, whenever. We simply ask if you have minimal availability, you advise us so we will not continue to provide you work that you are unable to accommodate.
Do you provide training?
We provide training on our in-house processes and procedures. We do not provide training for the skills necessary for the hired position. We only hired experienced and skilled workers who need limited to no training.
What is the company culture like?
We foster long term partnerships, open communication and transparency on our team. Although we are virtual, we have an open door policy, which means everyone has access to our CEO’s contact information. Everyone is encouraged to speak up, no matter what the issue is. It is our goal and mission to ensure everyone at Lawfecta has a rewarding and fulfilling experience, and we are dedicated to making that happen for our team.
How will I be assigned clients once onboarded?
Once you join the team, we will add your resume to our database. Clients interested in working with you based on your skills and expertise will be connected with you for a brief interview process. This may be conducted via phone or via video conferencing. Since these calls are considered an “interview” by the clients, we will not pay you the full rate, but the “interview” rate which will be discussed and agreed upon. You will choose whether or not you’d like to support the potential client.
Will I work directly with my clients or through Lawfecta?
When you begin working with a client, you will work directly and communicate directly with the client. The team at Lawfecta will be available as a resource for you should you need assistance or have questions.
